Youth Week at Visible Ink

Brisbane Youth Week is an annual celebration and showcase of young people from 12-25 years of age. It provides opportunities for young people to share ideas, attend live events, workshops, activities and forums. Youth Week celebrates the contribution of young people to the community.

Youth Week 2022  2-10 April

Activities this year will include workshops, skate deck painting, all-ages music, skate and scooter competitions, J-Pop dance event and much more.

Visible Ink Youth Hub will be celebrating Youth Week by opening all week with free workshops, events and live music activities.

Highlights from past Brisbane Youth Week Events

Brisbane Youth Week – Wednesday 1 to Thursday 9 April 2020- provided opportunities for young people to share ideas, have their voices heard on issues of concern to them, attend events and celebrate their contribution to the community. This year we supported young people to organise over 100 events across Brisbane including panels, workshops, live music performances, sports and rec opportunities, festivals and community celebrations. With over 7,000 people attending events over the 10 days, it was a lot of fun and we just want to thank everyone who helped plan the events and make Brisbane Youth Week so successful.
