About Our Youth Spaces

Visible Ink is part of Brisbane City Council’s Youth Program, and offers physical spaces to young people under 26 and the organisations that support them. At Visible Ink there are spaces to meet for organised activities, and resources to help people get together, get involved, get heard and get active in the life of Brisbane. Visible Ink also provides onsite support from staff to help you plan your ideas and connect to others.

Each Visible Ink space is a little bit different so its best to have a look and see which one will meet your needs. Visit each space by clicking on the following names:

Why is there a Visible Ink Space?
Council has listened and responded to an issue identified by young people that there’s a lack of safe, well-resourced and accessible venues for young people to meet and get involved in projects. In response a space was developed in Fortitude Valley and spaces in other areas such as Wynnum, Mt Gravatt and Milton.

Who can use the Visible Ink Space?
People aged 12 – 26, organisations that support young people and others by negotiation with Visible Ink staff.
